Ronghua-inspired Chinese silk-velvet ornament craft

Materials

Natural mulberry-silk fibres; 925 sterling-silver ear hooks (ear-contact components); gold-tone plated alloy; pearl-like and crystal-effect decorative bead accents.

Technique

Mulberry-silk velvet is hand-shaped into layered teardrop petals, edged with fine decorative wire or cord, and assembled with openwork metal and bead accents.
